MCA – Merzougui : « Nous possédons un effectif exceptionnel»
Disparu totalement des écrans radars, Kheirredine Merzougui a attendu la fin de ce stage bloqué à Rennes pour sortir de son mutisme. L’enfant d’Ain Defla a évoqué la préparation d’intersaison et du mercato XXL réalisé par les pensionnaires d’El-Achour.
«Nous avons effectué un stage bloqué ici à Rennes dans des conditions idoines. On a mis tous les moyens à notre disposition pour réaliser un très bon regroupement. On a beaucoup bossé sur le plan physique et technico-tactique. Nous, les joueurs, avons su négocier avec brio les différentes étapes. Tout le monde donne tout ce qu’il a afin d’être au top sur tous les plans lors de la reprise du championnat. Je remercie notre direction qui est en train de réaliser un recrutement de très grande qualité. Le Mouloudia a eu le renfort de joueurs internationaux qui sont connus au niveau mondial. Cela va être très bénéfique pour le club car les joueurs en question vont mettre toute leur expérience au service de l’équipe. On possède un effectif exceptionnel qui est capable de rendre heureux les Chnaoua », a déclaré l’avant-centre mouloudéen.
« Faire mieux que les quatre buts de la saison dernière»
Contraint de faire l’impasse sur la deuxième manche du championnat ce qui a eu pour effet de figer ses statistiques avec quatre buts inscrits seulement, Merzougui sait qu’il va falloir être précis dans la surface de vérité pour planter plus de banderilles, lui qui a été critiqué pour son manque de réalisme. « C’est vrai que je suis passé par des moments très difficiles. J’ai eu une grave blessure, ce qui explique mon indisponibilité tout au long de la deuxième partie du championnat. Ceci étant, je n’ai jamais baissé les bras et grâce à Dieu, j’ai pu reprendre les entraînements et la compétition. Je n’ai mis que quatre buts la saison dernière et cela était bien insuffisant. J’ai l’envie et le désir d’inscrire bien plus que les quatre banderilles. Je veux être très performant pour permettre à mon équipe d’atteindre les objectifs assignés. Je profite de l’occasion pour remercier le staff médical, dirigeant, le staff technique, mes partenaires et toutes les personnes qui m’ont soutenu dans ces moments difficiles », a lancé Merzougui.

Très souvent soutenu par les Chnaoua, Merzougui profite de l’occasion pour lancer un appel aux supporters du club qui doivent jouer à la perfection leur rôle de douzième homme jusqu’à la fin de la saison. « Nous avons un public en or.
